Dr. Turshá Hamilton, is among the country’s most respected experts in natural medicine and licensed naturopathic physicians.
She travels throughout the U.S. teaching and speaking at campuses, conventions, and churches on insights and strategies for improving health holistically. Dr. Turshá has been called upon by TV programs, print, radio, and online media to give a fresh perspective and new information on holistic health trends.
She is an author, speaker, and radio host.
Dr. Turshá has written and co-written several books on holistic health. She previously co-hosted two different weekly radio shows, and was the the host of her own podcast, The Practically Healthy Life Show
Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Turshá earned her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana.
Her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine degree was earned at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Previous experience includes working both in her own private practice and in group practices. In both, she worked with patients with varying degrees of health. She has experience teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level programs. Currently, she is currently teaching Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology in New Orleans La.
